Did James Altucher start the rumour of Amazon accepting Bitcoin?. It is even in his latest post: Everything You Need To Know About Bitcoin:
“I decided to code up a Bitcoin only store (maybe the first ever) and sell my book, “Choose Yourself” on it before it was released on Amazon.”
Of course others point to them buying up cryptocurrency URLs.
Pointing to a good read: Amazon is the biggest threat to bitcoin right now. Barriers include Bitcoin doing 7tps (transactions per second), Ethereum doing 15tps, while Amazon’s peak during a prime sale is 600tps. Does Ripple solve this problem?
